Plasterboard is formed mostly of a chemical known as Calcium Lignosulphonate. It is a panel that is utilised for interior walls and ceilings. Plasterboard can also be referred to as gypsum board, drywall, wallboard, or wall panels. Most plasterboards are made from sustainable and recyclable materials. Some plasterboards are even manufactured from 45 percent waste recycled resources. It also provides a highly healthy living environment that is devoid of hazardous toxins.
The plasterboard is not only affordable and of high quality, but it is also fire resistant. This is due to the fact that gypsum is composed of crystals that include a trace of water. During a fire, water is forced down and helps to keep the fire temperature low. Gyproc FireLine, for example, is commonly utilised for fire safety in some unique multi-layer system applications, with up to 4 hours of safety.

Foaming agent
To make a flowable gypsum slurry, we have plasticizer and foaming agent. The foaming agent increases volume to the gypsum slurry, resulting in a considerably lighter plasterboard that is easier to handle and install. The plasticizers' job is to lower the quantity of water required to prepare a flowable gypsum slurry and to shorten the drying time in the plasterboard manufacturing process, resulting in early green strength.
